A Cold Geisha Nightby ~Snigom

Pencil on Strathmore 300 Series Bristol board (9 x 6). Scanned in and inked in Illustrator CS4. Then colored by me in Photoshop CS4 64-Bit. Kimono design was actually done in Painter 10. The background was constructed using texture photos I had taken. The out-door background was painted in Photoshop CS4 64-bit.

This is to be the Art Show Badge for AnimeFest 2009. So Captain, I hope you like it

I did do more 'Geisha' research this time around than before. Oddly enough this was what I originally wanted to do but didn't think I could pull it off.

I will say this, this piece is as close to what I saw in my head than any other drawing I have ever done in my life

Thank you! Yes...actually this piece will be featured in the art show in an impressive poster size of 20 x 24. One of kind that shall not be re-printed. Then I have 2 mermaids...and 2 prints and the french girl will make a reappearance.
